Food and service can be counted on to be consistently good. Restaurant is very clean and parking is good as there is a lot behind the restaurant as well as in front. A bit of a problem right now with road work but worth the hassle for the food and friendly employees.
Pretty good food, though I wasn't a fan of the potato salad. They were relatively quick, even though it was super crowded. The only real drawback is how loud it gets. But I'd eat there again if in Metairie.
I loved everything about our lunch, the people, the counter servers, and of course the meals. I had the 1/2 fried chicken dinner and hubby had the 3meat pizza. It was hot and delicious!! Only negative... CNN on TV
I love this little place I've been coming here since the 1960s it's one of my favorite lunch spots and Nola. The seafood gumbo is very good with Crab ousters and Shrimp they're Italian dishes are excellent and one of these days I'm actually going to try the muffalotta!
